extreme cashmere

extreme cashmere was founded by Saskia Dijkstra 5 years ago. After producing cashmere garments for top brands for over 20 years, Saskia became increasingly frustrated with constantly having to make concessions on price, fit and quality. Due to this, Saskia wanted to make her own perfect sweater, a sweater that makes you feel better on a bad day, one that gives you comfort and makes you feel confident. Without limits and without concessions on quality, price, design or colour. Saskia wanted to produce a sweater on her terms and focus purely on the product. The idea never was to create a brand.

“We don’t do collections, we don’t do seasons, we don’t do genders, we don’t do sizes. Our aim is to create garments, designed to be used and loved for a long time, meant for everybody and every body.”

SUSTAINABILITY

extreme cashmere strongly believes in quality and longevity as an alternative to fast-paced accumulation. We aim to offer the ultimate extreme cashmere wardrobe, challenging ourselves to continuously rethink and improve the quality of our products and practises. We don’t do collections, we don’t do seasons, we don’t do gender, we don’t do sizes. Instead,

we keep our stock reduced to a minimum. Our recurring and timeless designs offer a full core wardrobe that is made to enjoy for years - for every body and everybody, on every occasion, in every season.

To us, being sustainable asks for a change in work ethics, production processes, industry and consumer behaviour. Over twenty years of in-house experience in designing and producing high end cashmere knitwear helps us to make smart, resourceful and considerate choices along the way. Our large network of producers and manufacturers in China provide us with

the longest cashmere fibres and threads. They make into tight, high-quality knits that are easy to maintain. Our goal is to make your favourite sweater for years to come.
